I can t seem to place a floor on my foundation.
Stranded deep foundation has no floor.

Note that the foundation is part of the recipe for a wall so if you already placed a foundation you must do your crafting at the foundation worksite.

I created a corrugated square foundation x2 and i have enough corrugation scraps to create 2 floors.

Nor will it allow me to craft it off the foundation.
Building a foundation requires either wood sticks plank scrap clay bricks or corrugated scrap once a foundation is set the player will then be able to attach any sort of extension or addition.
You will need two wall panels to support a floor roof ahhhh.

Also notice the build menu has a scroll wheel to getting to the bottom items.

You must have supports on either side and a foundation underneath to place them on your shelter.
If a foundation has been built in a spot ever it seems to permanently screw that spot.

Rafts are created from three components a base a floor and propulsion.
Like the base there are actually several types of floors that can be made with some being better than.

Have 3 foundations in a row a floor panel above the last one but it wont let me place the stairs between them i did try placing the stairs before putting the floor panel in.
And even if you hadn t built a floor over a foundation if you destroy that foundation to make an empty spot you still can t build anything that attaches in that area like anchor rudder etc.

You must first construct a raft base with the various kinds of buoyant scrap you can find.
